City Government Offices Closed Time-off by Executive Order Monday, January 26, 2026 for Non-Essential Employees

Mayor Brandon M. Scott has announced that Baltimore City Government Offices will be closed for in-person operations tomorrow, Monday, January 26, 2026, for all non-essential employees. Non-essential employees may be deemed emergency essential for this event. Employees who wish to telework have the option to do so with supervisory approval. Government buildings will not be open.

Essential employees, and employees designated as emergency essential (for the current weather event), including those who work the afternoon and evening shift(s), must report to work and remain at work as scheduled unless otherwise notified by their immediate supervisor.
